I have a rooster who has a leg problem. He injured it this past year and we spent roughly $500 in vet bills getting the wound healed. With that being said, he has major problems with the leg and hobbles around. Because of that, I rarely see him dust bathe...he seems to like to just hang...
I was able to find an avian and exotic pets vet about 60 miles from us..I am taking her to that vet this Friday. I'll be sure to post the findings since this is a new one to me.

Help! I bought these at Atwoods in the "Laying Banded Pullet" bin. They are 6 weeks old. I thought I was buying White Leghorns but the more I look at pictures of other peoples leghorns I'm beginning to think I might have White Rocks...any White Rock owners out there can help?
I purchased this chicken at Atwoods out of the "Laying Banded Pullets" bin along with the other 2 behind him/her. He/She is 6 weeks old and has a slightly larger comb than the others and is already getting wattles. I'm not sure if I got Leghorns or White Rocks but could you at least tell me if...
