We have a home made incubator that we just had a 100% hatch (10 out of 10 ducklings) in on Wednesday. We have another batch due to hatch tomorrow, so we moved them into the homemade incubator (the "lockdown" incubator) but the temp dropped to 91 and I CANNOT for the life of me get it to go up...
If he is making progress and you can see him moving around then I would just let him do his thing. It can take FOREVER as I have recently learned but if it is peeping and moving around, you will be better off letting him get there himself because opening up the bator to help can hurt him more...
