I have 2 ones that are 2 years old but they only layed 1 egg before winter when I got them. So I wanted to make them go broody

So I have silkies and they are about to lay in spring when it starts getting hotter but Iv heard tha ti can make them broody... So I was thinking is it better to make them broody and put my other cross breed eggs under them or should I just wait for them to start laying... I want to start making...

Thanks I heard that silkies are very brooding so I was thinking that I could put eggs under her would that work?

Thanks, I found out that my roo is actually 6 months old is that good enough??

1. I have 2 older silkies that are about 2 years old and I have 4, 3 and a half months old and will the older ones fight with my younger ones? 2. Will i be able to put eggs under my older silkies? 3. Will my 3 and a half onth old roo be able to mate with the older?

I have 4 Silkies around 9 and half weeks old and I was wondering if anyone could tell me the sex of them? (Arron) (Junior) (Grey) I have heard that hens have breasts like this (Godzilla) Godzilla I think is a roo but I'm not 100% sure, he bullies the others by grabbed their neck skin

I have silkies about 9 and half weeks old and I was wondering if anyone could identify their sex (Arron) (Juniour) (Grey) Iv heard that females breasts are diffrent colours (Godzilla) I believe he is a roo, he is alot bigger tha the others and he always bullys the others by grabbing their neck.
