I have a chick that got stuck away from momma hen in some hay and somehow broke its leg in the process. It seems to be broken right above the joint of the leg. The chick is doing ok right now and standing on one leg... But the leg is bad. Anyone have similar experiences? Anyone know how to make...
I'm having similar issues! This is my first duck hatch and 3/3 of the eggs pipped yesterday morning. I checked this morning and they cleared a little more around the pipping hole but no zips. I'm so worried!!
I currently have a duck sitting on three eggs and they are all pipping! I'm worried though that when they hatch the Drake is going to hurt them? It is just the hen and Drake in the coop (along with the eggs). No others ducks. Will the drake hurt them or will they be ok? Anyone had this experience?

One of my hens went broody a while ago and finally had success! It's day 22 and I checked this morning and she had two pips. When I came back later, she had an egg that had been crushed. The chick is still peeping inside. What do I do?
I just had 1 chick hatch at 4:00 in the morning and two others hatched some time today (large). When should I take them out? I have about 5 other eggs (bantams) pipping right now.
I've had so much trouble with my LG incubator. I've had problems with humidity and temperature. When I put my eggs on lockdown the temp wouldn't rise from 95 for a whole day (two thermometers were reading 95). I even lost power for several hours during lockdown! But today (end of day 19) I have...
