So we have a cream legbar roo and have crossed and hatched out with hens that lay:
Brown eggs (varying from light to dark)
Green eggs (olive egger)
And white eggs.
What kind of egg colored eggs can we expect from them as they get older?

Updating at almost 4 months- apologies. I took pictures but then we lost one (the all black one), then had a hawk nesting above the coop so I couldn’t let them out, and all the old folks in my life got sick .
So the one we thought was a cream legbar roo pure, appears to be so

I’m going to do my best to do weekly up until they are 12ish weeks. We will know fairly quick in the next couple weeks if we have roos but im sure people would be googling the cross to see what they looked like… as I was doing before posting 😂
1 week, Cream legbar.
Black spot on head. Blonde body, absent of chipmunk stripe.
Appears to be feathering in black and white.
Cream legbar cockerel is my guess
Oh yay, so the black legbar hen/BCM roo baby is a pullet!
So based on this, we have 3 pullets, one rooster?
Thank you for sharing your knowledge and the calculator. We have had roosters for years but he was a bantam and couldn’t do the job for the ladies 🤣 so never paid attention to genetics...
