    I had 3 chicks which looked very similar to yours in the picture. However, one was sandy tan colored, the other was bronze colored, and the third was dark brown!

    EE’s are very difficult to pin down. You can never really tell what they’re going to look like. I’ve had to identical chicks grow up to be completely different. I’ve also had a blue/gray chick grow up to be red.

    The legs are pretty thick, and the comb is larger than what it should be in a pullet of that size. Roos also tend to grow in size faster, and grow more feathers later.

    For my first 2 batches, I bought chicks from big r. However, I found that their birds were less healthy, and since then I buy from a hatchery in Wisconsin called Purely Poultry, which I highly recommend.

    Yeah, they are barnyard mix roos. They're probably different mixes though, based on their combs and feathers being different in each one.
