Little early to be sexing by the puff. My boys had the same puff as the girls at that age. I couldn't accurately sex them until 12+ weeks. Except for the early crowers.

My social battery has been drained lately, can't get a recharge. I covered 3 extra shifts this week and all I want to do is shut myself away for a few weeks. Everyone is too loud, manners are horrible, some have been so rude to me and it just makes me mad.

Medium? The ones I bought to hatch were probably considered medium. They were between silkie and standard egg layer size

I haven't hatched eggs from my flock in forever. I recently started over around Easter with chicks. My polish started laying at the end of August, very small bantam size eggs. I know polish don't lay large eggs...more a medium size, so I'm wondering how long until they will get up to hatching...

They are growing. Adams leg scabbed over and healed, it has new feather growth. His legs are not any better and he seems stunted compared to his brother Ken. The girls are doing good, Buckeye is still boss and Barbie is still the clumsy bird that trips over air.

Hatched 1, bought 1 for a friend. Both were females so I needed a male. Then bought 2 males 😂

Oh I about drove myself nuts. Can't candle them. And wait at least 35 days to see if it maybe moves. Then second guess yourself because maybe you are seeing things lol

It was the longest almost 8 weeks of my life. I love the little derpy raptors though.

A bit graphic. He wedged himself in a small 5" gap and his feathers were ripped out. Skin is intact but he's bruised.

Got the kids moved outside Monday and not even 10hrs later Adam got hurt. He seems ok, got him cleaned up but it looks terrible. He's my favorite of the 2 boys so of course he'd be the problem child.

Seen a preview of when Chris Pratt was in the cage with the raptors with his hands out and I was like yep that looks familiar. BTW Barbie is a shoe girl. She tries to rip my shoes off every time I'm in the pen.
