Was going to try to do the cup method with a second egg too but read a little bit about mineral absorbtion from the shell. Calcium,manganese etc. ..think I'm going to abandon the cup method all together as neat as it would be. Might try your hole in the shell technique at a later date.
We got our first double yolk turkey egg this morning and want to incubate it but doing this in shell has many complications. I think this method would leave enough room for both embryo's to develop.
