@Miss Lydia - Oh yeah, that wasn't an option lol! As for feed I think I'm gonna have to switch to an all flock feed. Although my TSC is the only place that carries one. Its the purina all flock, but I believe it is for chicks and baby ducks. Is that ok? I took some pictures this time...

I just wanted to say sorry for being absent from the site for awhile. When I heard about the move, I kinda just took a break. That being said, the ducklings are now seven weeks old! They are so big and beautiful! I do have some sad news though, I decided to leave them at my grandma's...

@QuackSpeak - Do you mean regular grass? I was thinking of ornamental grasses because they get taller and look nice. But maybe a bush or tree would be better. Edit: I've gotta find something to plant in there lol because the ducks seem to like the little garden I put out front. They lay next...

    Walker's Indian Runner Tribe

@Miss Lydia - Thank you! c: @QuackSpeak - I have the same problem. I'm scared to put anything in there because 1) they might eat it 2) their poop might be too much for it and 3) it might be poisonous.

@QuackSpeak - Oh, my bad! The mulch is going by the plants haha! Besides, red mulch stains pretty bad...I don't want red ducks! :b I doubt anything is going in the duck pen but a tree and maybe a bush. If I choose to put anything in there though I will need to be sure it's not poisonous.

Yesterday we did some work in the duck pen. These guys just watched lol. We still haven't finished putting wire around the bottom of their pen but we let them run the whole thing yesterday. We got nervous about them being out while we weren't there to watch them so we got a net and covered...

    Walker's Indian Runner Tribe

@QuackSpeak - I decided I will take them back home with me when I go. That way they will be more feathered and my grandparents won't have to worry about them as much as I do lol. @Miss Lydia - Sheet vinyl is a good idea. For paint I think I've decided on a light grey and white instead of...

    New ducklings!

@QuackSpeak - I was just wondering how your ducks were doing today. Glad they are doing good. I can't wait to see some pictures!

Hey everyone, my mind is racing with ideas and projects for the duck house/pen! I'm gonna list my ideas below and if you have any ideas or suggestions, feel free to share them! First off, I'd like to name my little duck house. I don't have many ideas though so this I'd really like suggestions...

@Miss Lydia - Oh wow how scary! I will have to look for those bags or maybe even make my own traps. That's a good point. Lol I'm gonna go tell Awesome he's attracting flies and needs to think about where he poops! XD

@Miss Lydia - The one I got is basically a sticky tube. I was looking for fly tape or even those bags but that was all the store had. Probably not worth it but I thought I'd try it anyway. I clean their house everyday too but still have quite a bit of flies.

@Miss Lydia - Thanks! Tomorrow I will probably sprinkle some out there then. I bought a fly trap today though.

@Miss Lydia - Yeah, I told my grandma that I might as well move in with her. I will miss them so much. Grandma loves her animals and I'm just like her lol.

Hey guys, quick question, my grandma uses this stuff in her horse stalls to keep flies down. Is it safe for ducks?

    Walker's Indian Runner Tribe

@Miss Lydia - Right now we are at my grandparent's house. I may take them back home with me when I go but thats undecided. Half the ducklings are actually my grandma's (the fawn/whites and chocolates). Mine are the blacks and blues. I don't live in a place where I can keep ducks (although...

Sorry I missed yesterday's update, but the ducklings are now four weeks old!! Here's some pictures of their house and run. It's still not done yet. This is their next door neighbor, a small miniature horse stallion named Awesome. He stays out there full time now and helps keep away...

@Miss Lydia - Oh no! The pictures didn't load! :/ I'll go out today and get pictures of the whole pen. Plus it's going to be 90F out there today so I've gotta set up their new swimming pool. We bought them a kiddie pool yesterday :)

It's about time! I'm sorry for it taking so long but Grandma has so much work to do, we're always busy. There's no food and water in there because I just took it out to clean their shavings. Not sure if it was visible, but there's a heat lamp on the top right. Not sure on the house's exact...
