I've just noticed some odd looking black spots on the combs of my roosters and several of my chickens. After some searching I learned about a poultry flea (totally new to me) as well, dry pox came up. I did not have any of these problems in the last state I lived in...any thoughts?
I have a large walnut tree in my back yard. There are several walnuts on the ground. My girls don't seem to have any interest in the nuts that are in the shell, but they love when I shell the nuts and give them to them. Should I be concerned about the ones on the ground?
