I have always wondered how to get my eggs clean. When I pick them from the coups some of them have poop on them. And they tell you to wipe them clean with a dry paper towel. But when it's dried to the egg how does it come off with out water. Not to mention it is supposed to effect the fertility...

I've read many posts. Some of which say to use ink pen. Some say use pencil some say other things. Can you tell me the best way to mark without affecting the hatch?
