Right now I have 8 girls laying. Here in the next year I will be adding maybe 10 to 15 girls to the flock. How many nesting boxes will I need for the girls?

Yes they all hatched from blue eggs marked as white leg bar, few might of hatched from the green eggs doesnt the ameraucana has tuff? I know Easter eggers, have the dark legs and some have tuffs while others don’t

But I do have another white one with the same type of head style. I just couldn’t get it in correct shot of it.

That’s why I was questioning the rest of the chickens I hatched. My 2 cream leg bars checked out. Just now what is my solo grey one is, and my bcm if they are true bcm.

They are about 6 to 7 weeks

I hatched 31 out of 41 during the Texas winter storm

The people I got them said they was bcm, white leg bar, cream leg bar, and Easter egged. They are about 2 months old

I got normal hay for my girls box..... They are able to make a nest with the hay and lay there eggs. Plus i applied to there coop so when the chickens jump off there roost they will have a softer landing.

I finially got my hands on 3 frizzle babies. They are 3 days old and wanted to know how would i be able to sex them. The frizzles dont have the same type of feathering as other chickens. Would i have to go on comb and waddles for these babies?

I would watch for pecking and them jumping on each other. When i put my little ones out for the first time, they would fight over bugs. It was so cute watching them run around trying to catch them. But that could be a cause there wounds.

I just got this little fluffy baby and havea few questions. I thought slikies had a black body but mine has a blue body plus idk of its a male or female any helps would be nice.
