Last egg on the left is the X hens eggs and the egg just to the right of it is my Jersey Giant hen’s egg. Cream colored Ayam Cemani egg at the far right for comparison.

They are excellent hens! Their eggs are as large as my Jersey Giant’s eggs and the egg color is a beautiful deep mauve pink. I love them!

My cows are organically fed and yet not once have I seen them spread cow manure to look for bugs! I have even thrown scratch grains on top of the manure to “teach” them but nothing! They ignore the scratch grains too! My cows are healthy and got a clean bill of health by the vet.... so what gives?

No the light colored chick is a Lemon Cuckoo Orpington. The chicks are getting more color/pattern now, even more so than the golden laced Wyandotte chicks!
