Wondering if it is really necessary to remove the food with this breed. They do eat a lot but take plenty of breaks. They don't live at the feeder.I really don't think any are eating after the sun goes down anyway.

One of my hens disappeared, thought a predator got her. She shows up after 4 days eats drinks and gone again. Did this a few times, I knew what she was up to. Did not think she would pull it off with all the predator's in our area. The other day she came home. She was not alone this time.
