It's funny my boys tend to be gentlemen with their mates but total animals with everyone elses, I find unpaired hens get it worse as they don't have a drake for protection.
Oh my goodness, they are so big now! The calls are so cute. I love the facial stripes on the pacific blacks, we get wild ones coming in to pinch my ducks food, cheeky things.
I definitely prefer my duckies to my chooks, but that's just my personal opinion! Ducks can be kept for eggs or meat, or just to have something cute and entertaining around...... I started with one little cutie (call duck) now I have over 50
Well a quick and easy way is to use lawnmower grass catchers, they are easy to clean and have a handle to move the nest for egg inspections, or moving a broody some place safe!

Thats great, congrats! Hopefully they all go full term for you. I just placed some eggs in my first ever bator..... nervous yet excited! hum at 63% and temp between 37 and 37.8, hopefully this will be OK and I will hatch 14 beautiful Calls. Keep us posted with yours.
