The calculator should include the possible size of your a bird and if your chicken has any genetic defects you should be to include that into factoring how the offspring will turn out. This way you can see if the genetic defects will be passed on or not.

Hi, Welcome to BYC! I have personally thought about converting a greenhouse into a chicken coop as well. The only concern I could think of is that it might get too humid and increase the risk of the chickens getting fungal infections.
