she is dark, and also has dark legs but the wattles throw me off. she hates being handled, and that was the best picture i could get. she’s a feisty one for sure
he is in with them, i was wondering if it has to do with him being with two older, larger roosters. he was there first, but obviously the two biggest roosters took dominance. is this why? he doesn’t even show interest in his OEGB hens.
i am talking about the eye mark. males won’t have a dark, defined “eyeliner” mark, if they have one at all. it’s the dark strip running right across the eye
the chipmunk chicks are easy to sex. if they are missing the eye mark, it’s a male. if they do have the mark, it’s a female. sexed all 5 of my OEGB with 100% accuracy that way
