well im down to only 3 now, and only one is active and alert and eating and drinking on his own. so it sounds like it was just a bad batch, I will be hopeful for the replacements.

i called this morning, she said call back monday morning and give us your total number of loss and they will ship out replacements, i just dont want another box of dead chicks, what a waste, poor things.

my 25 meaties, arrived in the mail this morning, 15 of them dead in the box...and another 7 of them have died in the past 12 hrs, I am down to 5 chicks.... this seems absolutely bizzarre to me!!! Has anyone experienced this? Did I go with the worst hatchery ever or was it the post office rough...

any of you guys in Phx know where I can find broiler feed? the starter/finisher. my cornish x are showing up feb 22-24 and I have yet to find a store that carries it. stock shop said they can special order turkey grower... can anyone help me?

25 cornish arriving week of feb 22, local stock shop says they can order me turkey grower, otherwise they dont carry meat bird food. will this food work or is protein too high? anyone used this feed for cornish x?

well thats the thing, I cannot hatch any more bc i live in the city and had to get rid of my rooster, so I got only one fertile egg to grow a chick for me. i prayed and prayed it would hatch lol cuz its so special. all homegrown and stuff and it just hatched so all wet but def looks solid...

ok well my blue raced red dotte wasnt hatchery, barred rock from hatchery. so idk id the barred rock was feather sexed, BUT, the one chick i got from this pair is solid black. So is it safe to assume its a female since this cross would produce black sex links!?!?
