    Pullet with eye 'crusted shut'

Hey eye is open this morning. Just a little crusty around the edge of the lid but not 'bad'. I'm hoping it was just a minor injury.

    Pullet with eye 'crusted shut'

I will take a picture. Not nearly as nasty as it sounds. I have a baby pullet and noticed its left eye shut this evening. When I looked closer it looked like the lid was slightly crusty. I'm not sure if her eye was injured and running... she closed it to sleep, and now it's just crusted...

    Probably a silly questions but........

25 is usually a minimum order. That's probably 1 reason you see a lot of folks getting that many. I just got 25. I plan on raising them to sell their eggs next season at farmers market. I needed more eggs. I just got them, so they should start laying eggs right in time.

    And The Peepers Have Arrived

Got my order of 25 peepers at 6am. Picked them up down at the post office. Ideal shipped them out yesterday. Overnight low was around 25 degrees! I was very worried I'd have a box full of chick-sickles! They all made it back to the house alive, and cheeping. I guess their lives are in my...
