We have an eggmergency --- my kids discovered the little switches on the bator thermostat -- can someone with a 1588 look inside and tell me which of the 8 swiches are to be up and which ones down!!

I filled the water channels at the bottom as the directions said, then I put papertowel over the wire and laid the eggs on that. Now, looking in there--- the paper towels are all wet - is that a problem??

I got a new roo and 2 hens yesterday for free off craigslist. They look like a trio of Mille Fleur D'Uccle. Anyway - after I got them home, I realized that one of the hens has NO tailfeathers - as in NONE!!! The girl I got them from was not very informative, but thought they were a year old...
