    Breed?!? Help!

Wow! They really do look like they could be easter Eggers. I’m anxious to see what color eggs they lay now!! I always though my other chick who was labeled a leghorn but has black Feathers I thought was a Delaware- but looking at the pictures you posted he could be an Easter Egger too

    Breed?!? Help!

My babies are six weeks!! 🥰 anyone know what breed the white and cream colored chicks are or what color eggs they’ll lay? I was sold them as leghorns. I assume they’re a mix. They have green feet and two of them have little Mohawks happening. Pretty sure they’re all female. They have very small...

    Comb turning pink

I’m refusing to admit it’s a cockerel. It’s so beautiful I don’t want to have to give it up 😢 I’ll keep playing dumb until I hear the crow! 🤣😁

    Comb turning pink

They do go outside during the day. I better look it over better tomorrow. I did lift the wings and look at the skin for lice or mites and didn’t see anything. I’ll have to look more tomorrow. Thank you!

    Comb turning pink

Hi all! I have a five week old chick whose comb was bright red, but part of it is now faded to pink. Is this something I should be concerned about?

    Gender and breed?

Updated post now that my chicks are between 4-5 weeks. I was told leghorns. I think the yellow chick with black feathers is a Delaware and not sure about the cream ones. I also think the yellow one with black feathered is a roo. Any chance it could still be a hen? It’s so pretty I don’t want to...

    Leghorns?

I’m not sure if any of mine are leghorns at this point 🤦🏽‍♀️ The one clearly isn’t because of all the black but the others that were all white now have brown feathers 🤷🏻‍♀️

    Leghorns?!

Hi! I have 3 week old leghorns. I am not sure what kind of leghorns they are. I originally thought they were all white leghorns but one has black on its feathers and two are turning out to have brown and white feathers. Also- I am thinking the one with black is a rooster from its comb being so...

    Leghorns?

Considering they were just labeled leghorns I’m assuming it could mean any type of leghorn 🤷🏻‍♀️ I was clueless when I bought them so I didn’t ask any questions 🤦🏽‍♀️

    Leghorns?

Good information to know. Thank you. I’m very curious to see how each chick turns out. The one you pointed out and the one with the black spots both seem to be Roos to me because of the short tail and larger combs. Total guess! I haven’t noticed any cocky behavior yet, but I’ll have to keep my...

    Leghorns?

I wonder if the one just got mixed in with the white leghorns because only the one has block spots. 🤔

    Leghorns?

They were just labeled as leghorns. So I’m not entirely sure which type. Here is another picture where you can really see how much shorter the ones wings are. How old are your chicks? One person at the store told me they were one week and another person said two weeks. I bought them on Monday...

    Leghorns?

I have two whose tail feathers are much shorter than the other two and their combs are growing faster. Yikes... maybe two roosters?

    Leghorns?

Got them from tractor supply. I wouldn’t be surprised if this one was a cross between something else. I
