She is only 1.5 years old. Was not vaccinated for Marek's, but shows no other symptoms of it. After looking for closely at her feet, I can see that her scales are dry and a little crusty looking. I suppose it may be scaly leg mites. If anyone has an ideal treatment plan for that, please let me know!

My 1-year-old Silkie Hen has had a swollen face the past few days. I just thought the mosquitos had gotten her, but I noticed today that she has thick white mucus in one of her eyes. And ideas as to what this could be? Should I separate her? Is it serious?

Here is an update on my Silkie x EE cross. Now 18 weeks / 4.5 months. Any thoughts on cockerel vs Pullet??

Yes I will get some closer photos. The bird is 1/2 Silkie, and 1/2 EE. It does have 5 toes on both feet, as well as a beard. No crest.
