My 4 hens and a WILD rooster

I think that he sleeps somewhere in the next property, it's not owned by anyone, no house, just a lot of bushes, trees, weeds. My hens are a year and a half. Would you know what breed is he?

My 4 hens and a WILD rooster

I am a owner of 4 Wyandotte hens and I live in a rainforest on the Big Island of Hawaii. They're free ranged and laying eggs every day. I "found" a young wild rooster, who has decided to stay in my backyard WITH my hens. The question is this...are my hens SAFE? What about possible bugs that this...

    Injured hen

I noticed that one of my hens was limping off and on for a few days. This morning, I found out why...she "lost" a claw. She doesn't let me pick her up to REALLY examine her😔 Is she going to be okay?? Do I have to do anything? Mahalo in advance for anybody's help🤙

    Is it normal???

Well.... I may have found out the reason why? This morning, I heard my hens squawking up a storm so, I ran down there and heard a cat, couldn't see it because I live in a rainforest on the Big Island of Hawaii. Then, after I scared it away (hopefully), about an hour later, heard my hens again...

    Is it normal???

I did change their food which, they absolutely LOVE and THEN, they started laying eggs. Not a whole lot, a couple to a few. I'm not even sure if all 4 hens are laying? But now, if lucky that I get ONE for the day. But, everything else is normal.

Wondering about one of my Chickens???

I currently own 4 Wyandotte hens and they're almost a year old. One of them has been showing some sort of POSSIBLE neurological damage but, I'm not sure? Her symptoms include her neck hanging, what looks like upside down then, going round and round. She'll do that for at least 30 seconds and...

    New to the group🌺

    VERY low cost but efficient

My husband and I live in a rainforest at a 2000 level in Hawaii. We have 4 chickens and we bought a coop that says that it could fit up to 6 chickens. In reality, it really can only fit 4. Unfortunately, their coop is on the ground and when it rains, it's REALLY heavy. Could you please give me...
