I’m taking my boys to their new homes right now. I’m a mess. I wish I could keep them, but it wasn’t gonna work. I’m going to miss them dearly. Optima is the brown, Aristotle is the black and white.

My mother said she saw all three of the babies practicing flying today with their parents-- and that the nest is now empty! It was such a gift to watch them grow up! I'll try to see if I can find them out there, get a picture of them out in the big world to finish this thread off!

It practically looks like they doubled in size overnight. One of them seems to have left, too. I wonder if they’ll still be here tomorrow, or if they’re ready to make lives of their own?
