I've been using extra large puppy pads. I put 1 upside down and 1 right side up where I put the water dish it absorbs will the water without leaking then 1 layer every where else.

She couldn't hold her head up so I researched it. Then started ad a very small bit of vitamin E to the mush I'd been feeding, within a couple days she was holding her head up and eating and drinking on her own.

1 is much smaller due to a very late hatching and had wry neck and a crooked leg had to work with her for 4 days before introducing her to the flock.

2 pipped at wrong end and died shortly after

4 out of 7 survied. 1 died before hatched, pipped a wrong end and died shortly after hatching.

Ok so 4th pip but at wrong end and still hasn't broke through membrane what to do, how long should I wait to assist?

Update at least 3 have pipped externally, so excited :)

Day 32 still nothing going to prepare to assist after candling

We have 7 eggs.

We're on day 31 and hopeful.

Still no external pip. Starting to get very worried. Don't want to disturb them by checking them but not sure what to do.

Have 7 mallard duck eggs in incubator on lockdown all pipped 3 days ago but still no external. Should I candle to see if all is well or leave alone?
