I am not experienced..but as far as I can tell the purple arrows are female.. blue arrow guy on top looks male..not sure about the bottom guy, if he crows, male..(I think that you are correct)..third picture female.
I appreciate the knowledge..I believe that it's from a wild pattern, but I don't know because I purchased the eggs at a roadside farm..I never saw the birds or asked what they were..I hatch 4..the other male is definitely wild color..

I have an 8 week old British range color coturnix quail..he/she doesn't produce foam when vent sexing..does not have meringue on their excrement..does not crow..does not mount the female he/she is caged with..but does not lay an egg either..
The male he is caged with pays him/her no attention...
I am not positive that the eggs weren't from 2 days..I checked them late at night.. but only saw the egg in the morning..
No eggs yet today, but I am trying to see if my Rosetta is female..

I wasn't sure if they were different because they were her first eggs, or because the other hen laid it.. she is a British range and can't be feather sexed..
I had my first quail eggs laid..I found an egg when I got up this morning, and I found one this evening.
I am not sure if it came from 2 different birds..both looked to have had some changes in their cloacas but I am inexperienced in knowing for sure..
