    Is the shell still inside?

I have a rooster too so I thought I couldn't use layer feed with them. My plan for their next bag was all flock and keep doing the oyster shell.

    Is the shell still inside?

6 month old brahma. I feed them chick starter, they are on their last bag. They do have oyster in another container that they do eat. I also give them dried soldier fly larvae and organic scratch. And some fruit every now and then.

    Is the shell still inside?

I saw one of my chickens that hasn't laid yet go into the nest box and she left this. It looks gelatinous! Did the shell break inside of her? What do I do??

Ok. Well I just fixed their nest boxes up with nesting pads and fake eggs so hopefully they get the point if it's going to be time soon:)

Are my ladies about to start laying?

I've noticed 2 or 3 of my brahma ladies are starting to squat when the humans approach them instead of making a mad dash away. I have 5 total, hatched on March 23. 2 of them have much pinker floppy doos and neck jiggles than the others so I think they are getting ready to lay.. but from what...

Yeah it says 2 people and 12 hours... no. No way. And now, since I'm sunburned and it hurts, I can't work on it until around 5 or 6pm and there's a modicum of shade. I don't know if I will finish it tonight :idunno

    Building the coop!

We're building our prefab coop and I really want to be finished tonight. The chicks are almost 9 weeks old and their poo is starting to get so stinky in the house we do a full brooder clean every other day but that's not enough any more! Anyway, I'm super envious of all the cool coops people...

I can't guess for your chicken because I'm too new to chickens but I've got a Henrietta that I think is likely a Henry! Too funny!
