I appreciate everyone's input, thank you for responding. They seem to get along fine, they eat together, forage together, strech out in the sun together and even cuddle up at night. I think they are still rather young andI will wait it out to see if I can figure it out. The birds are happy and...
I will be on the lookout, it is really really hard to come by females here where I live. They are more often than not sold only in pairs. It is also almost winter here. Do they lay eggs all year round or do they have specific vreeding seasons?

Hi Kate,
The birds are on a solid floor as I do not like a wire floor personally, it was the breeder who had them on wire.
I will get salve for the foot and electrolytes. She seems to have perked up a bit, but I will still keep a close eye on her foot.

We are almost through with day 18, and i saw the external pip 12 hours ago. The pip is tiny, and even with chick sounds in the background, i see no movement anymore. It has been 3 hours since the last wiggle or sound. I checked humidity and temp and it is stable. What do i do?
I am at day 16 with my King quail eggs in the incubator. All of my settings on temp, humidity, and so on are correct. Should i be concerned? How long do they take to hatch?
TIA
