We have 6 HEALTHY babies!! All 6 made it through the night I pulled the last 3 out of the incubator this morning and let them join their siblings! They all are eating playing and have defecated their first little green poos already! So I think we are off to a good start!

I took the 3 out that hatched at 5 am and left the others in! I have two out and one hatching! I’m not sure my 7th one is going to make it I haven’t seen any action!

this may be a really silly question and I may be just overly excited…I have 7 silkies going in to day 18 and lockdown day 2. I’ve noticed one of my eggs is extremely active and this morning completely spun her egg around. Does this mean she’s close to hatching?
yea I def didn’t mean free range I meant to say they will be let outside supervised but I just wanted to make sure that I wasn’t missing anything vital to their survival and success. But this is great to know, the organic feed is expensive so if reg. Feed will do fine for now as baby chicks then...
