    I probably should wear a mask all the time but after the pandemic and mask requirements, I avoid them as much as possible. When I do a deep clean, I make an exception. When the task is done, the mask is black inside and out.

    My chickens all easily reach the nests and have a platform to stand on before going in. The one in the smaller room often has a line of chickens waiting to use it. It's hilarious to watch.

    Thank you all for your comments. I feel much safer now. I keep the 'ground bound' ones in my fridge (after washing). I only sell clean unwashed ones. 'Ground bound' never make the cut. :)

    It is not a heat lamp it is a 1W bulb that I keep on all the time. My chickens don't like the dark and this is as close as I can get to it at night. It also helps me check on them after they have gone to bed, "beak count", to make sure they are all where they are supposed to be.

    My metal roof has a snow coat on it so it doesn't have condensation issues (that I know of). Even my spider webs are all dry.
