Definitely some kind of silkie mix, the extra toes are dead giveaways. Not sure what they are mixed with though.

All of my bird enclosures are constructed Hardware cloth and wiring in the outside. Easier to stretch for attachment and trimming and prevents my animals from getting caught on any loose/damaged areas along the wire. Might leave small scratches but it'll make you bleed like a stuck pig.

small breed dog houses and rabbit hutches are always a good option, used a rabbit hutch for my pullets and they're easy to clean and provide good shelter for injured or quarantined birds.
