    Sick Goose (Diagnosis?)

Hello, I regret to say that he died. He had stopped eating/drinking a day or so before he received his medication so I believe his organs ultimately failed. Thank you for all of your help. It was appreciated immensely.

Also, how should I administer it? I am assuming either in his drinking water or in supplemental amounts via syringe.

    Sick Goose (Diagnosis?)

Thank you again for you info thus far. I have ordered medications and they should arrive later today. In the meanwhile I have been administering vitamins regularly. I believe I accidentally got some vitamins in his wind pipe with the syringe. He seems to be coughing/gargling. Do you have any...

    Sick Goose (Diagnosis?)

He does not seem to be able to move it very much. I have noticed a few kicks but for the most part he keeps his foot clenched into a point. He does not seem to care when I touch it. A friend mentioned that it could be a sign of an infection close to the heart and they offered to administer...

    Sick Goose (Diagnosis?)

I have stopped giving him the dewormer and he has begun eating again. However, it appears his right leg has stopped working. His droppings have only been green/brown/yellow. I’m attaching a picture below.

    Sick Goose (Diagnosis?)

Hi, Hope you are well, I have been administering the vitamins to my goose as specified and he has seemed to improve in terms of fatigue and distress. I have also been giving him SafeGuard horse dewormer (2.3ml per pound) for about 5 days now. He has sadly been bedridden. He is still having...

    Sick Goose (Diagnosis?)

I successfully found some Rooster Booster Poultry Cell this morning and administered it to my goose. He seemed to enjoy it. These are the vitamins I was able to find at my local vitamin shop. I was weary towards some of the ingredients (especially for the liquid B complex). Are you aware if...

    Sick Goose (Diagnosis?)

His droppings aren’t especially mucousy. I’d just describe them as that over bubbly. My vet did not do either of those things. Are either of them something I could do myself? I’m definitely going to get him some vitamins tomorrow morning. Do you recommend any specific brands?

    Sick Goose (Diagnosis?)

Thank you for your replies! I have not taken note of his swallowing. I have noticed him chattering his beak though almost as if he’s trying to spit something up. He is eating Purina Flock Raiser but prior to getting sick he was on New Country Organics Classic Layer Feed. We’ve also begun...

    Sick Goose (Diagnosis?)

Hello, I have a sick goose for about a week now and am attempting to diagnosis him. He is eating and drinking still. He went to the vet and got a blood test and heavy metal test. The blood test came back and said he had anemia which tracks considering his beak is looking poor. Still waiting on...

    Sick goose

Good to know. I ended up getting the safeguard horse paste just to be safe. If I were to list my goose’s symptoms, do you think you could give me an educated guess on what might be ailing him?

Hello, I am experiencing a similar problem. I believe that based off the info you provided in this thread, (thank u btw) that he does have worms. Do you know if equimax oral horse paste is also effective?
