    Really bad feathers on chick

So we hatched five Serama chicks recently 🥳🥳🥳 All of them have really nice feathers except for one and I can't figure out what's wrong with them. The one with the problem is the chipmunk coloration, and then just for comparison's sake I included one of the others. The feathers seem to be...

First time hatching, hatching with a broody hen instead of incubator.

She's hatching in a nesting box attached to coop and is a blend of fine shavings and hemp straw, with the rest of the flock. I intend on isolating Mama and the chicks from the rest of the flock as it is a mix of bantam and full size hens. I have built a brooder for them to sleep in at and a run...

First time hatching, hatching with a broody hen instead of incubator.

Okay, so I have a Serama I gave 6 eggs to (all have survived thus far🎊🥳) and are due this weekend. I. Am. A. Nervous. Wreck. Obviously I have been reading, doing research, watching YouTube videos, and reading threads on here but I'm so happy, and excited, and utterly terrified/worried. I'm so...

    Early Bird Serama

My little girl Nyx, after maturing and laying eggs for only 2 weeks went SUPER broody to the point where my sweet cuddly girl was trying to nest in shrubs and the neighbors yard to avoid us taking her eggs. So I bought 6 fertilized eggs and am letting her hatch'em😁🙄 This will be the first time...

    Ready to go outside?

They definitely have a warm spot, and don't really huddle early in the morning, but I might leave the best lamp out tonight just in case

    Ready to go outside?

I have a 5 and 1/2 week old Buff Orpington, Plymouth Barred Rock, Cream Legbar, and Sapphire Olive Egger that I believe are fully feathered. They've barely been getting the heat lamp and I put them outside in a little run for a couple hours everyday, usually in the early morning and early...

Worried this Barred Rock is a Cockerel

I'm worried this one is a Cockerel. The only reason that's a problem is I live in the city. I live at the edge by a a very large park, but I can't have roosters. It looks like they may have sickle feathers. They are about 4 and 1/2 weeks old. Anyone have any thoughts?
