@realsis Thank you! I think the place that we got them was bad. Got new chicks from a different place and they already look wayyy healthier than the other ones :)

these were my two chicks, pippa (pip) and Estelle !

So the two new ones are in a brooder right now, they have been eating. The other one that is with mama is also eating. They are eating medicated chick feed. I think that mama smothered the tiny chick with the straddle leg but otherwise idk :hmm

Yup! I have my broody hen in a dog crate with her chicks, maybe that might work for you?

I am using straw. That’s the box from when we got them. Hopefully straw is okay.

I would move her, just maybe make sure the other chickens are not in the coop when you move her.

we have come to the conclusion that it’s either cancer (most likely) or something that requires surgery or really really expensive meds. we are putting her to sleep her tomorrow

monday - yes they will be open. she really not doing well - I’m surprised she’s still alive, to be honest

okay. was it your rooster? do you know what breeds of rooster you have, if any?

Thank you both. I’ll take her to the vet on Monday and then decide from there.
