Going on 5 days my 8 week old pullet constantly is stopping and shutting her eyes. Eating and drinking normally. A few members of the flock a few weeks ago had cocsidiosis.
No watering eyes and no respiratory sounds either.
Does this poop look odd with the bubbles? Looking for suggestions in...
Depending on the mix, can waddles be forming on a hen around this age? I am not seeing any points to saddle feathers when I comb my hands through. The copper coloring is not getting any darker on the back, which I know is another indicator of rooster.
I have an 8 week old pullet that any chance she gets she is closing her eyes.
Still eating and drinking but definitely acting a lot different than her normal.
Poop looks normal, checked for bugs.
Any ideas? Should I start corid as a preventative?
I am certain this is a hen. Her tail has always pointed down. Is that normal? She’s healthy, eats well, active.
Just have never seen a tail like this before. Maybe a mix?
I have done the severe treatment of Corid to my flock for 5 days. On day 6 (fresh water) one of them is acting off again.
I am reading conflicting information. One thing said wait two weeks and then retreat. The other said, do a tiny dose for the next two weeks every day.
I priced out a fecal...
One chick was showing symptoms, treated the whole flock with corid water for 5 days.
NOW, on day 6 another one has blood in their droppings.
Do I treat again? I’d hate to do that depleting them of vitamins for so long.
Should I syringe dose just the one?
Not sure what to do! Thank you
Needing help! One of my girls is not acting right. Her droppings are green and sort of look like undigested food? I have not seen blood. Should I except coccidiosis?
I added two new Easter eggers to my 6 week old flock of 5 and they are not being very accepting of the new two. Should I separate them a few days or let them figure it out?
I didn’t think at 6 weeks adding more would be an issue. Thanks!
