Hi, Try not to worry too much, the heat should dry it out and it should heal up, the only thing to watch out for is other chicks pecking at it, it is very rare for them to do this but sometimes they can. I am sure everything will be OK. Congratulations on your new Fuzzy Butt ! Regards Dr Rob.
