    Guineas and Ticks

Hi Folks, I know nothing about Guineas (have had chickens and turkeys for several yrs) but have heard they eat ticks. Just moved to So Oregon and have been dealing with ticks on the dog since January. Frontline helps for about 3 weeks. Yesterday, I had one bite me on the stomach while I was...

    Opinions on Guineas

I am looking for opinions and info on guineas. It seems that people either love them or hate them. We live on 48 acres, most of that hillside and the deer come through here regularly = ticks. The dog is picking them up (even with Frontline plus) and I have read that guineas will eat ticks...

Norco Valley Fair, California - Need information

Does anyone have a show schedule for the 2008 Norco (California) Valley Fair? I can't find anything online except last year's schedule. I hate to pay for parking and find that I've come on the wrong day or time. I'm interested in chickens, turkeys, and possibly goats. Thanks! Corona~Barb

    Curious turkey hogs the picture

Shoshone is very curious and follows me around to see what I am doing. I was trying to get a picture of Puff Daddy (in the background) when she popped her head up right in front of the camera, as if to say "Hey, you're supposed to be taking MY picture!". She's too cute! Corona~Barb
