I have just purchased baby chicks and this time the farm I bought them from suggested puting Terramycin in the water the chicks drink. Also a magazine article suggests vinegar for chickens in their water. Any suggestions? Is this necessary?

Can someone tell me do I have to use Terramycin in my chicks water? they are one week to two week old. Do I need to use this at all for my baby chicks? How about vinegar? thanks for the advice
