This coop was constructed using a prefabricated cedar dog house purchased at Lowe’s. Modifications to the original structure included adding an attached nest box, additional ventilation, vinyl covered plywood flooring, and two roosts.

I was just considering going to a 18 or 20% feed. I have been using the purina 16% protien in my layer feed. Does that really make a big difference in egg production? Or is it the other stuff in the feed that is important
I am looking for a rooster that will not be to aggressive or obnoxious so my 2yr girl can still handle the chickens and be around them. I was thinking about a silver laced Wyandotte. Any thoughts on this one or any other ones would be great!!!
I am looking to into getting a few small goats. I think I have decided between either the Mini Nubian, or Nigerian Dwarf.
Is one better (less noise, personality, feed consupsution, etc.) then the other??
My four hens are just starting to lay, I just gave them access to the nest box also. I put two golf balls in their, it's only been a few days they seem to be a little unintrested in go in there to do their busniess. Any tips or anything else I can do?

There doesn't seem to be any nasal discharge, and her poop looks normal. She is 6-7 weeks old. What other symptoms should I look for? Thank you for your help!!!
I think my RIR pullet in sneezing, it sounds like a sneez or something like that. She looks and acts healthly, but I just don't know. Is she sick? And is their something I can give her if she is?

I think the key with the feeder is two strands of metal hanger tape at the front, it really helps keep the feed from spilling everywere. I sure they will find some way to spill it out eventually.
