This bird was the bonus rare breed that McMurray sends. Unfortunately is was killed. I hoping someone could tell what it is anyways. Thanks!

I am planning on building an incubator out of an old 10g tank. I'm wondering about air circulation. Since it is glass I can't drill vents at the bottom will I be ok with only vents on top? I will have a fan circulating air.
So I am wanting to breed chickens this summer, I really like the blue wheaten ameraucanas. But I want sex link chickens cause I dont want a bunch of roos running around. Is there any breed I can cross with the blue wheaten either roo or hen to get an EE sex link that still looks similar to the...
Her eggs look blue to me. Or at least not as green as some of the other EE eggs I've seen. Here is 2 pics of her and a pic of her egg with some other eggs.

I have 4 RSL roosters that are free. They are 8 weeks old. I just got some more birds and need the space that these are taking. Local pick-up only in Gaston County NC.
I processed my first broilers today. It was 24 birds and it took about 2.5 hours. I still need to figure out the best way to scald them cause I had a hard time getting the feathers near the base of the legs off. Used my chicken plucker and it was awesome. I couldn't imagine doing it with out...
I got some cornish x about 6 weeks ago and now it appears I have a few male RSL mixed in with them. I don't want to keep them and would really hate to give them away after feeding them for 6 weeks but is it worth the trouble to process them? And when can I do it?
I thought these were cornish x's but the more they grow the more they look different. I have 4 of them all about the same size, and no where as big as my cornish x. Is it possible they are male red stars. Here are a couple pics.
In this shot there are a couple in the background, but the one in...
This morning my neighbor's dogs got loose and terrorized my chickens. Fortunately they were secure enough that the dogs couldn't get to my birds. My problem comes where the owner of the dogs has no disregard for what his pets do. I've called the pound on him before, and I've asked him to keep...
My cornish rocks are a week old today and are too messy for me to keep them inside too much longer. If nights lows are 70+ can I put them out Wednesday with a heat lamp on them at night? Or can I put them out during the day and bring them in at night? What's the best option?
I got my chicks from Mcmurray Hatchery and it is a strait run. Some of them have either paint or sharper mark on their heads. I guessing that's marking their sex, but does it mean they are male or female?
I bought some chicks from Mcmurray and Just wondering what my extra chicks are.
The black chick I think is my "extra bonus". And the yellowish chick I'm wondering did they get mixed up with my cornish rocks, or is it a cornish rock?
Super excited my chicks have shipped. I received an email that they shipped this morning. Just wondering though, I've never heard of anything shipping on Sunday, has anyone else heard of it? Or is it probably they shipped yesterday or will ship tomorrow.
I have some cornish rock cross and black stars coming next week so I'm trying to get everything set up. Can I use one brooder or do I need to set up two because of the rapid growth of the cornish?
Hello everyone!
