So will he learn that he can? If he gets himself up there again will he be able to figure out how to get down? Or am I going to spend the winter kicking him out?
So three days and at least a hour of chasing later. My father in law got the rooster out of the loft.
The stairs are very steep, the rooster had to fly down. Apparently this is not something chickens like to do?
Last night my rooster took his hens up the stairs of the barn and into the hay loft. Nothing wrong with this, I do not really have the area setup for chickens, not looking forward to cleaning up later, but so be it.
The trouble is he will not come back down. I left everything open thinking...
