Some roosters are sweeties from chickhood into adulthood (my Barnevelder rooster is such example); however, many become stinkers as those teen hormones hit.
Never put up with an aggressive rooster. Re-home to a farm or make chicken and dumplings.

Ignore my response on another thread now that we have additional, more accurate, information on this thread.
That is a crow from a juvenile rooster. They are pretty pathetic when they first start to crow. He'll get the hang of it soon.
No illness, no gapeworm, just 100% male.
