Yes they are. But you have less Likes/ovations on this current system because the extra ovations added have been now removed since likes don't work in the same way.

On the old BYC, when someone with a lot of badges, Staff or other clout, gave you an ovation, you got extra ovations added. This is not being carried over here, so all those "extras" have been removed, hence your lower ovation count. So now here on the new BYC, when you get a "Like", it's 1 like.

We are still importing picture galleries and it may take a while. So hang tight until we are fully up and running! And hopefully that is soon! :-) As for the link address, when we officially go live, the address will read BYC.

Kathy, hatching is a challenge at this altitude for sure. It is very difficult keeping humidity levels stable and vents need to be wide open all throughout the cycle.

Thats the beauty of high altitude...no blistering heat! It's a vary rare day that gets above 90 in the summer. We average 85 much of summer. We have also seen -30 in the winter! Yikes!

I am up at 7,000 feet so winter still gets us! But just not as brutal as the lower lands and other parts of the US.
