Final results for me, 17 chicks and 2 ducks. None of them have died yet, which is good. :lol:

I set 18 chicks, 3 ducks, 1 chick egg was infertile, 1 duck egg died on week 1 or 2. 16 chicks have hatched, 1 is still pipping. 2 ducks have hatched. I'm just waiting for this last chick to come out, he is taking his time...

Ok, I have 12 chicks in the brooder, 2 ducklings in the brooder, 3 chicks drying in the incubator, and 2 eggs pipped :D I put 18 chicken eggs in and 3 duck eggs, 1 chicken egg was not fertilized, one duck egg died around the 2 week mark, all they rest have hatched besides the two pips :jumpy

Ok so far I have 1 EE x Leghorn chick, 2 EE x RIR chicks, and a Rouen x Pekin duckling! I still see plenty of pips and a RIR egg is starting to zip :D

The slow duck decided to zip out while I was outside, a little RIR x EE chick was pushing out as I got back too! :D :jumpy

I had to take my first hatch out, he was pecking the other eggs in their pipping hole and probably annoying the heck out of them :lol:

First one out, duck egg still has not started to zip, it has been 24 hours now, should I be worried?

I woke up early, well for me it is lol, one of my leghorns eggs has hatched, I think everyone has a pip. That duck egg is taking sooo long to progress!

My sister went to TS to get me some chick feed and other brooding supplies... She came back with more than that though. I'm still waiting for these chicks to hatch, the first one pipped at like 6 in the morning, is that a long time? He has made no progress sense then.

I am watching my duck egg shake around and chirp and a Leghorn egg decided to join him and is now chirping and trying to pip.

Ok, I peeled off the plastic wrap stuff, it is extremely clear now, one of the duck eggs has piped, he must be the one chirping. :jumpy

I can hear some chicks chirping in there but idk which eggs are chirping or if they are the ducks or the chicks. I can't really see through the little plastic panels either...
