Congratulations!
They certainly do Cynthia! These quail are coming on good now, faster than I can remember with my last lot that I did! We have nice weather forecast from Monday so hoping to get them outside :fl They are a little bigger from this pic as this was taken last week.
I count day 1 after a full 24 hours of incubation. So say you set Monday that would be day 0, Tuesday would be day 1, Wednesday would be day 2, and so and so on......
 I’m hoping for an incubator full in the morning when I get up! I’m not into these long drawn out hatches. If I’d known the Harlequin were going to hatch sooner I would have put them in a day or two after the Japanese.... as always hindsight is a wonderful thing......
Quick update ~
7 Harlequin have hatched so far but I think the 8th egg is a quitter but I left it in just incase. (Removed 4 clear) No action at all from it and seen as how all the other Harlequin that made it to lockdown have hatched I’m pretty sure.
The Japanese have started to hatch :clap 2...
#3 has hatched over night for me. #4 is just zipping and I can see at least 4 pip’s in the Japanese eggs :pop
They seem to have slowed down from yesterday :hmm
They should be fine. I’ve done these quail of mine at 30% as when I collected the eggs the lady said she’d had trouble with them drowning. I’ve gradually put the humidity up to 65% today and they seem to be hatching all good. I can see plenty of movement too in the eggs.
Good luck :fl
Wow...
