Candled tonight....pulled 18 (mostly clear) eggs out of 45 set in the incubator. At least now I don't have to stress out about the autoturner being maxed out!
Good news! Brinsea answered my question. She said the capacity was 1560 grams...... Now I just need to weigh all the eggs to find out if I am maxed out yet!
No, are they super heavy? But it seems odd to me to say just a number of eggs. I believe it says 9.5 goose eggs.....(has anyone ever done a half egg in the incubator?). As usual, I am fitting way more than the suggested 24 in there....bantam eggs do allow more creative use of space. Just worry...
In all the years since Hurricane Sandy I have never lost power again. Until today, one day after setting eggs. We did not lose power DURING the nor'Easter, but we did today for over an hour and a half. Luckily, my brinsea held temp just fine!
