When your family comes to visit for the Holiday weekend, lock the door to your incubator room..
After reading your post I got the tape out and sealed my little Janoel so visiting family wouldn't open it......
Congrats on all the new fluff! I'm trying to wait patiently on our first hatch with the 3 survivors. We've lost so many thus far its hard to stay positive. Does it get easier with each hatch or is it always so stressful?!?!
I tried that and countdowns for Disney World, not as important as the eggs! I think its because it's something tangible that we see everyday, either way its working!
Thanks everyone! I homeschool our kids so we are here all day staring at the incubator. I swear its as bad as watching for water to boil!!! My oldest has had a hard time with the concept of calendar days but has really gotten a hang of it since we started counting down the days with our 21...
I'm trying to wait patiently for our hatch but the anxiety is horrid!!! After the long wait and poor treatment on our shipped eggs we have 6 out of 18 in, 2 are questionable. We candled on days 8 and 15, planning on doing it again before we go into lockdown. I see so many suggestions on when...
Thats an excellent question, I tried to look but maybe saw one jiggly and one saddle. The others were nothing so I'm crossing my fingers we are good to go as normal tomorrow. T

We are in NC, both shipper and I so weather isn't an issue. The manager at my office was able to track it to the annex 20 minutes away two days ago but it looks like it bounced around back and forth and has gone ghost mode. Definitely gonna be an Easter miracle if we get in on this, that'd be...
Looks like I spoke too soon, USPS can't find our package. Its already been 4 days since it was shipped. I'm so disappointed, it was to be our first hatch and we are doing a homeschool curriculum with at the fun stuff just in time for Easter. Trying to stay positive.....
Due to the USPS, Im in! Waiting patiently for them to call to come pick up our first batch to hatch. Im guessing once they finally get here and we do the 24 hour settling period it'll be right about that time. 6 silkies and 6 Dominiques.
