you are right there is no strict time, one school hatch was lockdown 4 days early because of a 3 day weekend and they hatch fine.

I also have the small one of these, I love it and it wonderful for school hatching because the kids don't get burn by touching it mine is several years old now.

I set 14 eggs 12 marans Blues, and black and 2 Olive eggers on Sat. at noon.

Incubators are warming up, eggs are ready. Now the excitement begins. I am setting 7 blue copper marans and 5 black copper marans and 2 Olive eggers , these are my eggs. Setting tomorrow at high noon.

We are suppose to set on Sat. at noon right?

I am setting 14 eggs 7 blue copper marans and 7 black copper marans & olive eggers. I am using two incubators mini advance by brinsea so I will know if my blue rooster and blue hens will produce blue chicks only. If not they will go in with main coop and grown out coop will be ready for these...

I have the mini advance love it. It has never fail even with shipped eggs. It is use for school hatches also.

I am in
