Okay, so I got home today and definitely had a duck egg. It was right in front of their night crate, was covered in poop and mud.....and just "looks different". Whoo hooo! I am going to make them a nice hay nest next to their crate so they will hopefully lay them there. Yay ducks!

Do the eggs look rougher? Are they a different shape? I only have 3 white egg layers in my flock. 2 White Leghorn hens who lay HUGE white eggs. And a single Andalusian who is not yet laying. I do have some leghorn crosses that I believe lay a lightly tinted egg....I got a few smaller white eggs...
