    I think it will be the same light tan her mother and grandmothers lay. I'm not sure if she'll have a blue gene or not. The muffs help make her head proportional if you look at her from a distance. She had a very narrow head compared to most birds

    She's only 1/4 cochin. The bantam Cochin and standard Amerucana created my current pullet's dad who bred with a Phoenix to make my Bear. Also meant to put Banty Cochin, not sure why it changed to Bantu.

    Based on mama and grandmamas though, it should be good. My phoenixes lay great when I can find their darn nests and her grandmas on her dad's side is a Bantu Cochin that lays surprisingly well

    Not sure. She hasn't started to lay yet. She's a mid April baby and we had a cold plummet that caused everyone to stop a month early this year

    Huh. Wonder how she got that. Her grandpa and her dad have normal coloring. The only birds besides her I have with dark faces are Ayams, Sumatras and a naked neck pullet kinda has it

    She's a mix. 1/2 Phoenix standard, 1/4 Cochin bantam and 1/4 Amerucana

    What do blue earlobesmean? I thought only silkies had them. This was the best I could get, she's not a very friendly girl
